The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a Nanny is always making children's safety a #1 priority! It's also important to be responsible, trustworthy and honest. Having open lines of communication is essential in creating a great "Nanny-Parent Relationship." I feel lucky that I have been a nanny for the past 25 years and have been able to guide the children I care for through their developmental stages. In order to be successful at this, it is important, as a nanny, to keep learning and stay up-to-date with new ways and technology. The more educated I am, the more I can properly guide those I care for. Lastly, it is important to always give children 100% of your attention at all times. A nanny should be interacting, playing, reading and/or creating with children, not sitting back on the phone simply "watching." Overall, there are many important parts that are essential in order to be a great nanny and each part is extremely important.
