More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve had several valuable experiences caring for children in different settings. I’ve worked as a babysitter for family and friends, assisted as a teacher’s aid in a classroom, and spent time working with children at summer camps. Through these opportunities, I’ve learned how to create fun, safe, and nurturing environments, manage group activities, and support children emotionally and academically. These roles have helped me develop patience, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility — qualities I look forward to bringing into a nanny position.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts projects (painting, coloring, simple DIY crafts)

Reading books and storytelling

Outdoor play like going to parks, playing catch, or nature walks

Creative games like scavenger hunts, building forts, or imaginative play

Educational activities like practicing letters, numbers, or simple science experiments

Listening to music, singing songs, and dancing

Puzzles, board games, and interactive toys

Helping with homework or reading practice

Simple baking or cooking activities (with supervision)

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a genuine, trusting connection with the children I care for. I believe in creating a safe, loving, and positive environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. It’s just as important to me to teach and encourage them — whether through play, learning activities, or everyday routines — helping them grow in confidence and creativity. I also value gaining the trust of the family, knowing that I’m being entrusted with something so precious. Open communication, reliability, and genuine care are at the core of how I approach every nanny role.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with special needs in various settings, including those with Autism, Down syndrome, and physical impairments. Through my roles in summer camps, classrooms, and babysitting, I’ve learned how to be patient, adaptable, and attentive to each child’s unique needs. I’ve assisted with activities that encourage social interaction, physical movement, and creative expression, while always ensuring a safe and supportive environment. These experiences have taught me the importance of kindness, empathy, and celebrating every child’s individual abilities and milestones.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite moments while caring for children have been witnessing their little milestones and being a part of their growth. I’ll always remember the excitement of seeing a child take their very first steps — such a beautiful reminder of how special even the smallest achievements are. One of the most touching experiences I’ve had was hearing a non-verbal autistic child say their first words while we were playing together. It was an emotional and unforgettable moment that showed me the power of patience, connection, and love. I also cherish the times I’ve spent cooking simple recipes with the children, turning everyday activities into fun, hands-on learning experiences. These memories remind me why I love working with children — because every day holds new joys, surprises, and meaningful connections.
