More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My prior permanent position began also w/ a 3 mos old. Overseeing feedings, naps, bathing.Worked on sleep training , crib training, as well as potty training. We read books, sang, danced & played. Sadly, the position ended early due to C19 pandemic. However we celebrated her 1st b/day! Between both positions were several ongoing temp & as needed positions w/ the same on-going families, as needed. The children range from 6 wks -7yrs. I love working w/& developing a relationship w/them & watching them grow & learn. I love to read, play, dance & teach them. I enjoy going to the park or just on walks to get fresh air. I love playing games & music that helps them learn, develop & have fun. I'm so proud of them & they are proud of themselves for being able to sing their ABC'S, or even just accomplish little things. No achievement is to small to recognize & celebrate! Im excitedly looking for my next family. So please feel free to get ahold of me for questions , references, etc . Thank you!🙂
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Read, play, sing; depending on age, teach words, dance, go to park &/ or play outside( if available). Potty trainings , crib train, bathing, makeing meals/ snacks, walking( when ready) assist in learning coordination, placement of toys , puzzles, etc. in the correct place (or trying-lol), using repetition, games, patience & care. I recently started teaching& learning sign language. It's so exciting when they start to pick it up. They can then communicate,as well! I love seeing their expressions & actions when they realize that they are " getting it" Children are so innocent & full of unconditional love. That's all they want in return! How could that not make anyone smile & lighten their life? Its adorable!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Develop a trusting relationship with parents & child(ren). Complete & open communication with parents. Be able to work with provided schedule for child, if established . If there isn't a schedule, then work together with family to get a routine going. I feel the child responds & learns better with consistency & a routine. That way we all know what to expect!
Being able to work together as a team to create the best learning, loving & growing environment for the child(ren). Listening & learning from the child, as well as teach them communication skills. Seeing & assisting them grow & develop into the little person that will lead & take them through life. I believe that having a strong solid foundation in the beginning can continue to assist w/ self confidence & continue w/ positive growth & development. It can show up in the choices we make, roads we take, & help w/ challenges we might come across, and may very well assist in the future choices we make throughout our entire lives!❤️

My experience with special needs children...
I don't have experience with children with special needs
The most important part about being a nanny...
Showing up for my shift at the house and my little guy ( 14 mos at the time) saying with the biggest smile, "Tee-Tee!" Runs up and gives me a hug & off we go. Also when they are quite younger but still get excited, jump & giggle with arms out and ready to start our day together. There are just so many moments that I wouldn't trade for anything that just makes my heart melt❤️I admit it, I'm wrapped around their little fingers!!

More information about me: I’ve been working as au pair for about 3yrs and a half now (1 year in France, 2yrs and a half in America), all the kids that I take care of are younger than 6 so I have tons of experience taking care of toddlers. I don’t drive so it’d be the best if you could drop off and pick up your baby or I can take buses to your place.
I am very pet friendly, gentle and patient. I'm also firm when needed and very tidy. All my hosts describe me as very reliable and warm-hearted.
I am fully vaccinated.
Hopefully this helps and I’m so looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!
