I have done babysitting for about 3 years now but pretty much raised my siblings, I have experience with special needs children as well. And three children of my own with autism/ADHD.

I do a coloring station, magnet building, finger painting(non toxic), depending on the weather walks to the local parks are always a good way to burn off energy. Also I do a visit to the children’s museum of walla walla once a week.

Oh, there are so many! One time I was making some of my kids I was babysitting some food and she wanted to know if she could help, which it was an easy snack just a meat and cheese sandwich, so I said “of course you can!” And she hoped up on the stool I set down and she was so happy, it warmed my heart to see how children can be so happy from the smallest little things like that. But that’s one that stuck with me.
