More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience with multiple age groups in both an ECE setting and a home care setting. As a lead teacher at Bright Horizons I created fun, educational activities for toddlers to help them learn and grow in a very supportive environment. At Care. Com's backup care unit, I provided flexible and reliable care on short notice adapting to different needs with ease. Both experiences have deepened my passion for creating positive experiences for children and families!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love incorporating activities like sensory bins, art projects, and small science experiments into my childcare routine. I also love exploring outside! There are so many experiences and learning opportunities waiting for us outside :)
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with both the child and their family. Creating a safe, nurturing, space where the child feels supported is crucial. It's about being attentive to the child's needs, encouraging their growth, and providing consistent care that fosters their emotional and developmental wellbeing. This foundation of trust and care helps the child thrive and makes the role so rewarding.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was building a "fort" with one of my toddler nanny kids. We spent hours inside reading stories and rolling balls in and out of the fort. He loved the fort so much that when it came time for nap, he insisted that he slept in the fort and of course I let him. It was so heartwarming to watch him give all his toddler body had to help build the fort which he was so proud of, it was a very simple but magical experience that really highlighted the fun and connection we had together!

Hi families! My name is Ellie, and I have over 13 years of experience working with children from infants through school-age. Caring for kids has always been something I truly enjoy, and I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable and confident.
I currently help drive three girls home from school each day, so I’m very comfortable with school pickups, transportation, and busy schedules. I also previously drove a bus full of children to and from school, which taught me a lot about responsibility, patience, safety, and staying organized.
Over the years, I’ve worked closely with children of all ages and personalities, helping with routines, activities, learning, and day-to-day care. I’m dependable, nurturing, energetic, and understand how important trust and communication are when caring for your children. I look forward to connecting with your family!

I have worked in childcare for twelve years, beginning as a babysitter at 11, and I have loved the field ever since. I have experience as a private nanny, providing care for one child from infancy to toddlerhood, and occasionally helping with their elementary aged son, and eventually newborn. I regularly babysit for a family with two girls, one a toddler, and the other elementary school age. My most recent position was as a Direct Support Professional in assisted living for adults with developmental disabilities. The extensive training I received there, experiencing reporting to the state, handling emergency situations, and supporting people of all abilities and behavioral challenges, helps me to stand out as a caregiver. Outside of work, I also volunteer in the kids classroom at my local church with preschool to elementary aged children. I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Education with the goal of becoming a licensed family and child counselor.

Hello,
I have been working with children for over 10 years, and caring for and supporting their growth has truly become my passion.
Throughout my career, I have worked as a lead teacher across multiple age groups in classroom settings, including public schools. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of child development, structured learning, and how to create a safe, engaging environment for children of all ages.
In addition, I have spent the past 6 ½ years working as a nanny for the same family. During that time, I built a strong, trusting relationship while providing consistent care, supporting daily routines, and helping the children grow both emotionally and academically.
I take pride in creating a nurturing, patient, and positive environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to be themselves.I would love the opportunity to connect with you and learn more about your family’s needs.
Thank you for your time and consideration

I grew up going to my grandmother's daycare from elementary school through high school. During that time, as soon as I was a teen, I was one of her helpers with the babies, toddlers, and elementary-aged children.
During this time, I babysat some of the infants and toddlers at their home on days the children were not scheduled to be at the daycare.
I come from a very large family with lots of babies, so I was the go-to person when it came to traveling with family members to babysit as well as on-call for many years.
During college and for a period after college, I tutored middle-school aged children up to fellow college students.
I am passionate about childhood development and love learning about child psychology. My philosophy when working with children prioritizes safety, learning, and play. I am a creative person who can play pretend and I value reading no matter the age.
Hopefully, despite my lack of formal nannying, my application is considered.
