Want Weekend Nanny for large, fun, geeky household

Schedule, Pay, and Benefits:

22 hours a week, Saturday and Sunday 9:30 to 8:30.

$28 to $30 per hour on a W2, including tax withholding, reimbursement of mileage costs, paid vacation and sick leave, and money towards health insurance.


Contract starts Jan 14th, 2023 and lasts for a minimum of 6 months, preferably a year.


Help care for 3 children only, the youngest in a larger household. Help getting up kids, play time, transport to activities, preparing lunch and snacks, putting down for naps, helping with light daily household maintenance (dishes, toy cleanup, playroom and bedroom cleanup, decluttering, etc.), doing craft projects, taking kids to the park, etc.

Main qualifications:

Ideally min 3 years of experience caring for multiple children at once, driver’s license and clean driving record, your own vehicle, confidence driving children, a sense of humor, creativity, and ability to be flexible and adaptive within a complex environment.

Bonus points if you are a geek, love crafts and the outdoors, are adept at long kid hairstyles, have a car that can handle going a little off road, and have experience with neurodiversity and speech delays. Also, a plus if you are comfortable in large families with multiple caregivers.

Must be legal to work full-time in the U.S. and able to be paid through a salary management service on a W2 with taxes withheld.


Family is multicultural and blended, with 4 older siblings who we have with us part-time. Mother works part-time and father works full-time in tech. We also have a housecleaner who comes 3x a week, and a grandma who helps out a lot. We live on 5 wooded acres in unincorporated Redmond.
