The Carley Family
Bainbridge Island$17/hr  |  1 kid
My husband, newborn son, 3-year-old dog and I are moving to my hometown of Bainbridge Island in July 2018. My husband runs a video production business and I work as Director of Strategic Development at Chive Charities. I will be working remotely from our home on Bainbridge, but need a nanny to care for our son Monday-Friday, 9AM-3PM. We're a young couple and eager to find a nanny who can become a part of our family long-term!
The Stroup Family
Bainbridge Island$18/hr  |  3 kids
We are looking for help in-home during 2020-21 remote learning as a home-school coordinator and caregiver. Our eldest daughter is entering 6th grade and loves reading, writing and the creative arts. She plays soccer, swims on the swim team and thoroughly enjoys being a part of musical theater. She is advanced in math but struggles with year-above online learning of new concepts. Our middle daughter is a beautiful story of our long desire to adopt. She joined us just a year ago. She is a miracle and we are so excited for the transformations we have seen in her and her future. Because of her lack of early education, she struggles academically and works 1-2 years behind grade level. The remote learning has only created a greater distance in her abilities compared to her peers. She would require the majority of support during the time spent in home. Our youngest son has done very well with self-directed remote learning and would benefit from outdoor exposure and creative learning opportunities. We are very flexible in terms of days/times needed. We can work around the right nanny's schedule and are hoping for somewhere around 20-25 hours a week. We would prefer a caregiver who likes being active on the puget sound, enjoys the outdoors and outdoor activities, is interested in psychology and nurturing our children in their unique talents and abilities and can add in fun during the day with lessons in cooking, baking, and/or crafting. We do have 1 pooch - a standard poodle who loves to be with the family.
