A little bit about me

Family is one of the most important things to me. Growing up in a huge family full of children, it was only natural that I wanted to pursue a career working with children. For the past 2 years, I have worked as a substitute teacher and a teacher's assistant at UH Manoa's CRDG Summer Programs. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in both Human Development and Family Studies, as well as Sociology in hopes of becoming a social worker one day. For the last 8 years, I have worked with a variety of children from the ages of newborn to 17 years. While babysitting, I enjoy engaging in educational activities and crafts, helping with homework, and playing a variety of indoor and outdoor games. My babysitting skills include bathing and dressing, changing diapers, organizing bedrooms/toys, light housekeeping, running errands, and driving children to and from different places. As a babysitter, my goal is to create and promote a safe and stimulating learning environment for children of all ages.
