A little bit about me

Hello ! My name is Tziah and I'm currently a sophomore at Medgar Evers college. I've been working with kids since I was 15 and love it. I started working in the childcare scene for over 7 years and I am also a mother to a 8 year old son as well , and then began my studies in child-care/mental health. Over the last few years, I've worked primarily with infants and toddlers, and taught as Teacher Assistant for pre-k but I love kids of all ages. If it's nice out, I like to take the kids outside, but if not, I whip out my creativity skills. In my free time, I love hiking, reading and cooking.

My experience with special needs children...

I have plenty of experience caring for kids with special needs. I have worked in the school system for over 4 years . Which allowed me to work with both OT specialist as well as helping parents. I also worked under a company called the UNIQUELIFE.INC which provided care within the household to not only assist kids who deal special needs but also assist with helping parents complete home task to ensure a safe environment for their child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moments was a time where I was able to teach a child I was working with a new word from my home language which I found amazing and cute how they were able to say the work in the correct term.
