Not only that but I had the chance to student taught children from 2nd grade and up to 12th grade. I also had the opportunity to studied abroad in Spain, during this time I was able to work at a daycare where I spend all day with children from the age 0 to 5. It was amazing working with the little ones and doing activities that enrich their cognitive learning as well as their motor skills. Fast forward, after university I started working at James B. Eads elementary school as an instructional assistant. There I learned many things about teaching as well as helping students that were struggling with reading/math and students that were learning English.
