A little bit about me

I am a 47 year old veteran and mom of 4 almost grown children. I currently work in an early learning center with 3 year olds as a lead teacher. Im wanting to step out of that role and into a role where I can give more attention to 1,2, or 3 children at the most. I get excited to teach new things using play based learning. I enjoy doing creative arts, music, reading, science experiments, and of course outdoor play. I’m a gentle teacher who doesn’t use time outs instead I prefer alternative options such as butterfly yoga as a calming exercise or the use of a cozy center for a little break. I love following a daily schedule with lesson & activity planning that aligns with the parents preferences. I can prepare snacks and lunches and can do some light housework. I have a 100% clean driving record and background. I hope to bring lots of education, love, warmth, and joy to your little ones while in my care.
