Hi! I’m Valentina, a caring and passionate early childhood educator with several years of experience working with children. I’ve been a VPK teacher for three years, I’m a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and I’m currently pursuing my degree in Elementary Education.

I have several years of experience working with children as a VPK teacher, kindergarten assistant, and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Throughout my career, I’ve supported children with different personalities, abilities, and developmental needs. My experience has taught me how to create safe, nurturing environments while encouraging independence, learning, and emotional growth. I truly enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and their families!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts, reading stories, sensory play, outdoor adventures, nature walks, and creative games! As an educator, I enjoy turning everyday activities into fun learning opportunities. I also love singing, imaginative play, and helping children discover new things. I believe the best activities are those that bring joy, encourage curiosity, and allow children to express their unique personalities!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting relationship with both the children and their family. I want every child in my care to feel valued, understood, and genuinely loved. I also believe in respecting each family’s values, routines, and parenting preferences. Being a nanny means being someone parents can rely on and someone children feel happy and safe around. It’s a responsibility I take to heart!

My experience with special needs children...

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), I have experience supporting children with autism and different developmental and communication needs. I work on helping children develop functional communication, independence, social skills, and everyday life skills through individualized support and positive reinforcement. I believe every child deserves to feel understood, respected, and celebrated. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing children accomplish things that once seemed difficult for them!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Some of my favorite moments working with children are the little breakthroughs! Whether it’s hearing a child use a new word, watching them accomplish something independently, or seeing their excitement when they finally master a new skill, those moments fill my heart. I especially love when a child feels comfortable enough to come to me for help, share their happiness, or simply invite me into their little world. Those genuine connections are what make working with children so special to me!
