Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My experience is from working in a daycare setting with primarily infants since 2021. I do have experience with ages six weeks to five years, but primarily would like to nanny ages six weeks to one year (am open to siblings ages 1-5). I am used to daycare ratios, but would love to nanny up to two children possibly more for the right family. I also used to nanny for a family friend's toddler previously during the pandemic. Along with babysitting for my own family and neighbors as a teenager. I am currently CPR/First Aid Certified with Infant training added. My certification ends Dec 2023, and will renew as well. I am used to making lesson plans to help infant development and sensory skills. I also know basic sign language to teach to infants. I am also vaccinated for COVID-19. Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing bubble dance parties (yes even the non-mobile infants love it!). Sensory strobe lights are another activity that I loved doing in the daycare. I love to incorporate story times everyday where I will also teach a monthly sign for the babies to learn. I also love to do age friendly sensory activities where the activity is usually edible (once they get to eat soft solids) like whipped cream so they can get used to different textures. I also think it is important to dedicate some outdoor time no matter the age. Typically bringing a blanket and toys outside for infants, so they can play normally, but be able to be outdoors. I also love to go for walks ( was not able to do so in daycare setting), but any age friendly activity to make sure they get some time outdoors depending on the weather!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part is to love and care for the children, and to make sure their needs and happiness are met 100% of the time. Another important part is to make sure the parents are happy and able to go about their day as stress free as possible. My job is to make your lives easier and happier along with your beautiful child(ren)!

I sadly do not have any experience with special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when a Mom brought her seven month old daughter to daycare very early one morning (baby usually came in around 9am, but Mom arrived at 7am). Mom had a rough night with her daughter not sleeping and crying, so she was burnt out. About thirty minutes or so later I am playing with the baby on the floor, and she is babbling away, laughing, doing happy screams, and just having a fun time. I was able to get it on video and sent it Mom through our daycare app. When Mom came to pick up later, she said that seeing that video gave her relief and happiness. It was my favorite moment to see the baby so excited and thrilled to be at daycare, and to see Mom so relieved and happy that she can trust me.
