Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mom used to work with pregnant and postpartum women and I would watch their kids when they were in sessions. Along with this I used to watch my little brother and had babysitting side jobs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some indoor activities I love to do with kids include block/lego building, reading, making forts, dance parties, etc. I like to try to find things that are not only fun but that enrich them cognitively. I especially like to do outdoor activities with kids like playing tag, drawing with chalk, going to the playground, or just exploring and playing make believe.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is working with the parents to offer the children a place to not only grow, but thrive. I love seeing them come out of their shell as they get to know you as a caregiver as a person. Kids are very impressionable at a young age so I think it's important that they have a good influence and are being taught what the parents want them to be taught in this kind of environment. I help encourage this by getting to know the parents and their lifestyle while watching their kids.
