A little bit about me

Hi! I’m Violet – an 18-year-old student at the University of Texas at San Antonio with a lifelong love for caring for kids.
Growing up in a big family full of children from infants to teens, I naturally became the go-to babysitter. I have years of hands-on experience keeping little ones safe, entertained, and happy. I’m CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certified through the Red Cross, so your child's safety is always my top priority.
Creativity is a huge part of who I am – I love fashion design and bring that same artistic energy into fun activities like arts and crafts. Babysitting is more than a side job to me – it’s something I genuinely enjoy and see as part of my journey toward being a great parent one day.
I’d love to be a helping hand to your family whenever you need!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

During my full season as a lifeguard, child safety was always my top priority. I was constantly alert and focused, making sure kids were safe, following rules, and having fun in a secure environment. That experience helped me develop strong instincts for supervision, quick decision-making, and calm communication—all of which I bring to babysitting.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When I’m with kids, I love finding fun and creative ways to keep them engaged while also helping them learn along the way. I’m all about turning everyday activities into opportunities to explore and grow—whether that’s turning a walk into a nature scavenger hunt, making simple science experiments, playing learning games, or finding ways to sneak in math and reading during playtime. I try to match their energy, keep things positive, and make sure they’re not just having a good time, but also building confidence and learning new things without even realizing it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Creating a safe, supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, valued, and free to be themselves. It’s not just about keeping them safe (though that’s always the top priority), but also about being someone they can trust, have fun with, and learn from. I think it’s so important to be present, patient, and engaged—making sure they’re not only having fun, but also growing, learning, and building confidence every step of the way.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Antonio, TX: Jacklyn G.

Hi! My name is Jackie, I'm 26 years old, and I'm currently a stay-at-home mom and have been for 7 years. I have 2 children and we are a military family. I'm looking into joining the workforce and I feel that working with kids and helping other families would be my best suit. From experience, me being a stay-at-home mom and being the primary caregiver is extremely challenging especially with the military, so I know I am 100% knowledgeable and skillful on what it takes to care for your home and your little ones to the highest extent. Some skills I hold are: planning meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack time), upholding household inventories, coordinating and adjusting calendars and schedules, sustaining a clean and tidy home (from dishes, to laundry, to mopping), substantial organization, keeping track of expenses and finances, handling unexpected challenges, and ALWAYS maintaining an excellent, kindhearted, and composed manner. Overall, my main priority is your home and it's needs.
Danielle H. - Seeking Work in San Antonio

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in San Antonio, TX: Danielle H.

I have over 15 years of paid childcare experience in both classroom and home settings. I worked as a preschool teacher for six years, creating lesson plans, supporting early development, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment. I also served as a houseparent in a residential foster care setting, providing full-time care, structure, and emotional support to children of various ages. These roles taught me patience, flexibility, and strong communication. I genuinely enjoy helping children grow and thrive, and I bring a warm, reliable, and attentive approach to caregiving—making me well-suited for a trusted nanny role.
