I have been caring for children for over 8 years. I started by watching my cousins when I was 15 and often looked after kids around my neighborhood. In 2022, I moved to the USA from Brazil to become an Au Pair, where I cared for two wonderful girls, aged 3 and 5. I stayed with them for two and a half years, and they felt like siblings to me. We spent a lot of time playing, crafting, and riding bikes outdoors.
I have significant experience with before- and after-school routines, and I often watched them overnight. I was responsible for all their related chores, such as laundry, keeping their rooms tidy, and cleaning the areas where they played and ate. In addition to my Au Pair duties, I also provided extra babysitting for other families in the neighborhood.

It’s also important to be reliable, stay calm in tough moments, and talk openly with the parents. Being patient and kind goes a long way in making sure the kids feel comfortable and grow in a positive way
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was taking the two lovely girls I cared for to the park, and then getting ice cream after. We also used to have movie nights at home, where we ate our favorite snacks and candy while watching movies like *Inside Out* and *Frozen*. Playing on the trampoline or swimming in the pool was always so much fun with them.… 💖
