Hello!

My name is Wendy I am a career nanny of 15 years seeking to add a toddler to our part and/or full-time nanny share (hosted by me) in Talent, Oregon.

I am also available for part time in-home nanny care, drop-in care or occasional babysitting in Ashland or Talent.

I am comfortable working with children under the age of 8 and have a fairly flexible schedule. I also have experience working with multiples as well as with children with disabilities or specialized medical needs.

I am CPR certified and have a degree in Child Development. I have a safe, reliable vehicle and clean background check as well as driving record.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a CASA volunteer for two years in my previous state. I’ve worked as a family visitation supervisor in the past which gave me an array of experiences with many families and their children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy being outside with the children in my care! Oregon is such a beautiful state, when weather permits I love being outside going on walks, exploring parks and having nature hunts!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe it’s important to provide quality, safe, loving and reliable care to working parents. Your child is your most precious gift and you want to be confident in who is caring for your child while you are providing for them.

I love nannying because I am able to build a trusting and close relationship with the parents I work for over time. I am able to dedicate myself to one family and their children. I believe this makes the childcare experience much more personable and tailored to that particular child and their needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with many special needs children in my career. I have experience caring for children with Down Syndrome, autism, Spina Bifida and Rhett’s Syndrome. I have experience caring for children with specialized medical needs. I have experience with both G-tube and NG-tube feeding, ostomy care, and supplemented oxygen. I have experience caring for children who require daily therapies and have attended many physical, occupational, speech and feeding therapies with past clients.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love maintaining relationships with all the children who have been in my care. I love watching them grow even when my time with them comes to an end.
