Hello! My name is Whitney, and I have over 8 years of childcare experience in school and home settings, and I have recently graduated with my B.S. in Psychology from University of Central Florida.

I've, also, previously worked as an After School Teacher, and I spent my days providing children with snacks, assisting with homework, or some other form of learning (math games, story time, writing, etc.), taking children outside, as well as come up with special activities for the children to do, all of which I would have no problem doing for your child if needed. I have no problem with doing some cleaning and/or laundry or cooking either.

The most important part about being a nanny is aiding the parents in planting the theoretically seeds to help each child you care for have a loving and healthy foundation in order for them to grow into their best self in the future.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I ended up watching the children on Easter while their parents were out of the state for the weekend. I knew that it was the first holiday the kids had ever spent away from their parents, and it was difficult for them. At the time, I did not have much money, and I did not have a car, but I desperately wanted to do something for them. The night before, the children kept mentioning that they wanted chocolate bunnies, so I gave my dad the last little bit of money I had to buy them plastic eggs, candy, and of course, chocolate bunnies. While the children were upstairs, I had my dad sneakily bring me those items to set up for an Easter egg hunt. I did not have enough money to buy Easter baskets, so I found some construction paper and a stapler and made them each their own baskets. I surprised them both with their baskets and egg hunt, and their chocolate bunnies, then we watched Hop all day long (their request lol).
