A little bit about me

My name is Whitney, I have been a caregiver for almost 7 years now. I have experience with all ages of children. I have care giving experience with over 15 different families that I have accumulated over the years. Currently I am in a nanny position and was hired by human service for a family in a very special situation, but this position will be ending soon due to the boys being able to live with their birth mother again. I really would love to find a family I can stick with for at least the next two years while I finish out my Bachelors Degree online with CSU Global. I currently have my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Front Range Community college. I am First Aid and CPR certified. Some things that you should know about me may include, I am very active and love going outside for walks, hikes, going to the park, walking around the lake and in the summer time I love bringing the kiddos along and getting them involved. I love any kind of adventure outdoors, but I can also enjoy a movie inside on a cold day. I am engaged to be married, I have a one year old black lab mix named Girl Scout, and live in a condo in Evans. I am also very creative and love teaching children and watching them develop and hit milestones within their five domains of development. I love to use all of the techniques that I have learned through my associates in Early Childhood Education to help your child learn new things. Some of my favorites are crafts, story time and providing a daily structured schedule for your child. I worked in a daycare for a while as a toddler teacher and have many things I enjoy implementing while I nanny your children at home. I am very responsible, dependable, bubbly, knowledgeable and caring. I will treat your child as if they are my own and truly have a passion for what I do.
