More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am the second oldest of five siblings and one of the oldest of eighteen cousins. I grew up helping out with kids. I also spent nearly every weekend and summer volunteering at church with young kids. If that didn't take up my summer I worked for my family as a nanny. I've worked with kids ranging from an infants to teenagers.
I also was able to spend a year volunteering as a teacher's helping. A wonderful program where I was able to help out in the kindergarten classroom in exchange for class credits.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love animals. Any kind of animals. I've been known to get kids very interested in animals because of my own enthusiasm for them.
I also will constantly try to do art projects. I've mastered cleaning up after painting with young children.
I also really enjoy helping kids with homework and academics. I like the challenge of finding out what works for each individual. I've worked with children, and personally experienced learning struggles. I understand that some patience and creativity can go a long way.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kid I'm caring for feels safe and care for. That they're not nervous to come to me for any problem or fear.
My experience with special needs children...
The majority of my family as some form of academic and social special needs. I have a brother who's got a list of medical needs as well. Who I was in charge of for eight hours a day during the summer. I've also encountered kids with special needs while working summer camps and volunteering.
I'm willing to work, learn, and listen to what your child needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I was able to work with an infant for the summer as a senior in high school. It was the coolest and most enchanting thing to watch her grow and discover the world in those three months.

Hello!
I'm Emma, a childcare provider in Minneapolis, and I'm currently looking for a part-time or full-time nanny position! I have 8+ years of experience working in early childhood. I have worked in both toddler and infant classrooms as an assistant teacher and have nannied for two families. My first nanny position was with a 4-month-old; I worked with him until he was 1, and I fell in love with it! I love being able to bond with children and watch them grow and develop! I am a very nurturing and calm nanny who loves reading books, calming music, creating age-appropriate activities, going for walks, and babbling with babies!

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Minneapolis, MN: Miss B.
Hi! My name is Shannon, and I've done volunteer work with kids since I was in 6th grade. I still do volunteer work, and I was employed at a daycare for a year (six kids ages 2-4) Its amazing being able to build a bond and nurture a human learning to be a person in society. I love finding new activities, games, projects etc to do. I always wanted to be an art teacher for younger children because art is my passion and to get to teach these excited little humans is magical. I also had a mean babysitter when I was younger, and realize the importance of keeping children safe, acknowledged and loved. Im not sure if I want to have children but I know I adore the time I have with my friends children. I love going to concerts, trying out new recipes, and just finding the joy in life. I've been told I have a childlike personality (in the sense that I dance around a lot. And laugh at farts.) Life is too short not to laugh.
