More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a licensed EMT so I've had my 2½ years of ambulance experience with ALL age groups, I am CPR certified and have 6 siblings, 2 being autistic and 2 having add and ADHD, so I know a lot about how kids and their minds work. I'm a great teacher as well I used to tutor more when I was younger.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love me some tennis 🎾 and hate running but am trying to get better at it. But I love to crotchet as well teaching people beanies is the easiest and most fun I have extra crotchet hooks!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to be another cool person for kids. When it comes to help with homework or help with a new activity they like and also it works on my patience so it's a plus! It also helps me to get ready to be a parent as I should be getting engaged soon!!

My experience with special needs children...

My little brother is autistic right now he is 17 and my little sister she's 7. As they were growing up I, unfortunately, was my little brothers only friend, but I was also the only one he listened to so offering a healthy but tasty snack if he did his homework was the norm, and eventually he started speaking. As for my little sister she was able to speak already so she was more just the jump around and bubbly but high energy kid. So helping her calm down with music was very important growing up. Anyone out there I recommend a YouTuber Roan Martin. His live streams and calming voice with no cussing put her to sleep every time!
