Hello, my name is Zach and I have been in child care for over 5 years, ranging in ages from 3months old to high schoolers. I’ve been coaching baseball on the side since 2021 and have been working in all age groups for a daycare since 2023. Most recently I was in the 4-5 year old room for over a year, however, I’m very comfortable with all ages due to being in a float role in the daycare I worked in for over a year when I started. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been a childcare teacher for over 3 years in the age range of 3 months old to 5th graders in the summer. I spent my off time as a baseball coach for the age ranges of 10-18 and have experienced all types of children. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’ve always enjoyed letting kids use their imagination to play, joining in and guiding them along. I prefer outside play where the kids are in touch with nature and the world, letting them explore and learn, while also helping them to grow when they are curious. I love to play sports to help with motor skills. I also love to draw and be creative when inside, helping kids with colors, shapes, letters, and names was one of the best parts of my childcare job!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My most important thing is safety, while also letting them explore the boundaries of what they can do. I was always there to support the kids through challenges they had, while also warding them off of things that they weren’t quite ready to take on.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve been teaching for almost 4 years and met many kids on the spectrum. I enjoy helping them towards kindness feel comfortable with me and opening up outta their shell! It was some of my most spiritually rewarding work when I could help them be stronger communicators, as well as stronger in their everyday skills!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment came when I went on a long trip recently and visited my old class before the school year. Seeing them after the trip was so amazing and I was so glad to make a big enough impact that they ran to me when they saw me come back, tears in my eyes, it was amazing.
