Relevant experience where I also cared for children was when I worked as a full-time nanny and also as a substitute teacher. I’ve cared for kids from infancy through early elementary, and each role has given me a lot of hands-on experience with different ages and personalities. I’ve helped with playtime, meals, naps, school pickup, and just being a calm and consistent presence in their day. I’ve also worked with siblings, which taught me how to juggle different needs at once while keeping things fun and running smoothly.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include anything that gets them moving or using their imagination. I love being outside playing tag, going for nature walks, or just letting them run around and be silly. I also enjoy doing crafts, reading books together, building with blocks or Legos, and coming up with pretend play games. Cooking and baking with kids is something I really enjoy too because it is fun, creative, and a great way to spend time together while learning. It is important to me that kids feel free to be themselves while also staying engaged and having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe and cared for. It’s about being someone they can count on and trust every day. I want to support their growth by encouraging their interests and helping them feel confident, while also keeping a routine that gives them stability. For me, being patient and really caring about their happiness and well-being is what makes the job meaningful.
