They are taking the place of parents while caring for those children . So they must provide a safe environment that provides for the growth needs.

My experience with special needs children...

I have taught and watched over special needs children at my school as an aid to the head special needs teacher. The kids are wonderful to work with. It always brings me a smile to be able to teach and care for their needs.

One of my favorite memories of babysitting was when a 7yrs old girl told me that it made her day every time I got to look after her because of how much fun she has with me. When she said that it absolutely melt my heart and is a memory I will always keep forever.
