More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve done volunteer work with kids, tutored, have two brothers with special needs, and a firecracker of a sister! My mom is also a third grade teacher and I’ve helped her out more times than I can count!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really love colouring, practicing words and languages, and watching and talking about movies! My sister and I love watching the Princess and the Frog while acting out the scenes. I make a great Prince Naveen if I do say so myself!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Connecting with the kids! Kids are a great judge of character and are most willing to listen and learn when you truly care about them as individuals. I think anyone in childcare should recognise kids are just little people who need a little extra help.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother has non-verbal autism and we do a lot of other forms of communication with him! He understands a lot of words and really “talks” to us in his own way, we just have to be patient with him and understanding of his sound and sensory sensitivities! He’s just like any other kid, I think it’s just on US to understand him.

Babysitter Available in Chicago, IL: Amiracle B.
I am 19 years old and passionate about working with children. I am child care certified and completed a two-year child care class in high school where I gained hands-on experience working with children ages 2-5. Through this program, I helped with activities, lesson plans, and fine motor skill development.
I also have personal experience caring for children with special needs through helping care for my nonverbal sister, who is now 19. I have assisted with seizures, bathing, changing clothes, and daily care, which has taught me patience, compassion, and responsibility.
Although this would be my first professional child care job, I have years of personal and educational experience. I genuinely love children and enjoy creating fun, hands-on activities that help them learn and grow. I Will care for your children with love, patience, and attention as if they were my own.
