The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to understand the children, as a newly adult I can say everyone is often misunderstood but as a child it’s a lot more serious they don’t really understand how to control their emotions yet. I feel that it is important to be able to read the child as if something is wrong or if they’re bored, it’s necessary that they are safe and enjoying their time.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for my towns rec center for about two years and we’ve have all different types of children. One of my favorite kids was a special needs boy he was very smart and knew I liked space so everyday after school he’s take out the checkers and tell me that each one was a different planet or stay or meteor it was very cool and that’s how he’d show his affection towards me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment would have to be when I was watching an only child and she was very excited to have a young baby sitter, so I made sure I kept asking her what she wants to do and make her know I’m interested is what she is saying. She really just wanted some nice fun company since she’s used to playing alone and it made her night.
