A little bit about me

Hi families!

My name is Zoe Odum, and I am looking for a part time nanny job! Here is some info about what I am looking for specifically, and a little bit about me!

I am looking to work on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays about 6-8 hours each day, or Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons (does not have to be all afternoons!) from about 3pm-9pm. I need a minimum of 12 hours a week, and a maximum of 20 hours a week.

I am 19 years old, a freshman at GA State, and am majoring in Psychology to work with children in the mental health field.

I am CPR, first aid, and Stop The Bleed certified. I have a driver's license and a vehicle! I have plenty of references if wanted! I also have childhood education course knowledge.

I have worked with children of all ages for years and years, but newborns-infants are my most experienced age group, and love to see them develop and grow!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have served in church ministry classrooms for 6+ years, with all age groups, but am now serving consistently in the infant room on Sundays. My mom had an in-home daycare since before I was born, so I have grown up learning how to properly care and love for children. I have been babysitting on my own for about 7 years, and have been a part-time nanny for a few families for a little over a year now.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything the child likes! I am up to crafts, sports, movie nights, game nights, going to the park or to lunch, etc!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is getting to impact the kids I work with for a lifetime and not just watch them, but make sure it is memorable and that connections are made.

My experience with special needs children...

I have some experience with special needs children, but not extensive! I have worked with certain behavioral disorders as well as autism and ADHD. I have also worked with children with severe allergies and have knowledge on EpiPens and inhalers as I use them myself! I also have experience with children in the foster care system.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I absolutely love watching all the children grow and learn everyday! It is so special to be able to be apart of their lives, and that is the most special thing about my job.
