More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have developed childcare experience while regularly babysitting younger cousins and siblings.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
While it depends on the child, and their parents preferences, I love keeping kids engaged through hands on activities, whether that’s making crafts, playing outside, reading together, or dancing. I enjoy creating a positive environment where children can have fun while learning and exploring.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important parts of being a nanny are attentiveness, communication, and patience. Being attentive means noticing a child's emotions, interests, and needs, as well as being aware of their surroundings to help keep them safe. Open communication with children helps them feel heard, understood, and confident as they learn about the world, while clear communication with parents ensures consistency and that their child is receiving the best possible care. Above all, patience is essential. Every child learns and grows at their own pace, and creating a calm, supportive environment allows them to build confidence, develop new skills, and feel secure.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories as a nanny was looking after my 10-year-old step-sister. She was completely obsessed with Olivia Rodrigo, so we dressed up like her, turned her latest album on and spent the afternoon singing and dancing together. When it was time for me to leave, she gave me the biggest hug and said, “you’re the big sister I’ve always prayed for.” It was such a touching moment and reminded me how much small acts of kindness, fun, and genuine connection can mean to a child. It’s a memory I’ll always treasure.
