My wife and I are looking for a nanny starting next year, January 4th, 2027.
Our daughter, Eve, was born in May so she will be 8 months old when we will start to need childcare services.
I work in Cambridge, MA and will be gone a solid 8 hours a day, possibly more, Monday through Friday. My wife works much longer hours than I do, but she is able to work from home.
As of today, we do not have any specifics in regards to expectations or responsibilities as we are anticipating that our daughter’s needs will change between now and January.

Babysitter Job: The Weiner Family with 2 Children
Hello! We are looking for a part-time babysitter to join our family. We have a 3 year old boy who attends school FT and a 1 year old girl. Care will primarily be for our 1 year old with some afternoons requiring 1-2 hours with my son as well.
Schedule will generally be:
M-F: 1-5pm
A commitment to a certain number of date nights is a big bonus. These would generally be Saturdays 5:30-9:30pm (or when we return home) and we are also open to Friday date nights too.
Additional hours into the night or weekend mornings will be required when dad travels. Ability to travel would be a bonus.
We believe finding the right match is important for a good long-term fit!

Ideal hours would be 11:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. on M/W, 8:30am-5:30 p.m. on T/Th and 11:30am-5 p.m. on Fridays. We are Looking for an enthusiastic individual that can help care for our children. The primary responsibility will be caring for the 3month old. With some assistance with the 2 year old when he returns from school. The ideal candidate will find creative ways to keep the children engaged and create activities for learning various skills and concepts. Some examples include reading, music time, trips to the park, art time (painting, play doh, etc), creative ways practice letters and numbers, shapes, matching, sorting, Opposites, etc. No screen time. Additional Responsibilities include Meal preparation, Laundry and cleaning pertaining to the children. Being able to help with drop off and pick up of the 2 year old is a plus. Covid vaccine, flu vaccine, Tdap vaccine required. We can cover cost of latter two vaccines if needed. CPR training also required —we will cover the cost of certification if you are not yet certified/you need renewal.
Speaking a language other than English is a plus although not required.
