Babysitter Job: The Schroeder Family with 2 Children
Hi! We’re looking for a warm, dependable nanny/mother’s helper for our 21-month-old son in our home on Camp Pendleton. We’d like to start with approximately 6–12 hours/week and, for the right fit, there is potential for the position to grow significantly over time, possibly closer to full-time.
Your primary responsibility would be our toddler—playing with him inside our home, helping with meals/snacks, and following his usual routine. I’ll generally be home caring for our young baby, so you would not be responsible for both children at once as the normal arrangement.
Because we have a very young infant, we’re being especially cautious about illness exposure. We’re specifically looking for someone who is NOT currently working in a daycare/preschool/childcare center or regularly providing childcare for other families.
We live on Camp Pendleton, so someone who already has base access is strongly preferred. We’re hoping to find someone kind, patient, reliable, active with toddlers, and comfortable following our family’s routines while also taking initiative. If it’s a great mutual fit, we’d love for this to become a long-term position with substantially more hours.

I’ll be returning to work (wfh) starting in May. My son was born in November and will be roughly 6 months old. I’m looking for someone to care for him Wednesday-Friday each week. Roughly from 8:30am-4:30/5pm.
I’m open to nanny sharing, if the caregiver has their own children that they would need to bring over while caring for my son, I’m open to that as well.
I work from home most days unless I have a client meeting I need to travel for. My husband also works from home on Friday’s. We have a small dog that I will be able to let out/care for. I might want to pop in and hangout with my son during periods of downtime at work.

We are looking for someone to come regularly once a month for approximately 6 hours on either day of the weekend. We do also have a friendly dog and would like someone who is CPR certified. Other than than that there are no real special needs. Just hanging out and taking care of the basics. She loves puzzles, balloons, art, swinging outside, reading books and watching movies!
