The Bardin Family
Oceanside, CA

A little bit about us…I am looking for a back up sitter for my two kiddo (possibly just 1, depending on the day). I have a 1 year old boy (Cooper) and an almost 4 year old daughter (Elle). I am looking for a sitter in the event that our current part time nanny is out sick or unavailable; I am also looking for a sitter in case one of our kiddos is out of daycare sick with a cold and our part time nanny is unavailable (we will verify the cold is not covid with a home test) - the daycare has VERY strict policies so if our kiddo has even a slight drippy nose they cannot attend school until they are symptom free for 24 hours, so I am looking for care for them in such cases when they are not very sick, but not allowed to go to school. Is this something you'd be interested in? I would know the day prior if we need care, though in some cases it may be the morning of. We would also like to schedule date nights now and again, in which case both children would be home, but already asleep (we would like 8-10pm or possibly 7-10pm).

A bit about us: our kiddos love being outside! They love to play in the yard, read books, make forts, etc. We are a screen free home (no TV/ipads for kids), so they are very good at playing and enjoy being active. They listen well and are kind, good kids. We do positive parenting and they respond well to it. Our kiddos are fully COVID vaccinated, as are me and my husband.

Duties would include:
- tidy up after children
- follow routine (set nap times and meal times)
-care for the children -prep food, feed them, clean up/dishes all meals -put kiddos down for naps
-help toddler with toileting if needed
-diaper baby

We do have 3 dogs at our house, but you would not need to do anything with them (they will be upstairs in the office with me while I am working), or sleeping/crated during date night, though we can leave them out in the house if you’d like the company.

Let me know if you are interested or know a reference who may be a good fit!

Best,
Emma
