We are a busy family on Manhattan’s Upper East Side seeking an experienced, warm, and highly organized full-time, live-out nanny for our two children (ages 2 and 5). We are looking for someone energetic, proactive, and confident managing the children’s daily routines, school schedules, activities, appointments, and playdates, as well as light household management related to the children.
The ideal candidate is loving but firm, sets consistent boundaries, encourages independence, and can take full ownership of the children’s day-to-day needs. The position is approximately 60 hours per week, 6:30-6:30 Monday–Friday, and requires partial summer travel to our home in the Finger Lakes, with accommodations provided. Swimming and driving ability and flexibility to travel are essential.

2. Engaging him in age appropriate educational activities / games, taking him to the local park, finding classes / activities to participate with him, making play dates.
3. Ensuring he meets all speech and developmental milestones.
4. Ensuring a tidy nursery and keeping track of inventory. Bottle washing, baby's laundry, stroller organization and cleaning, play area tidying, baby food making if needed. All baby related chores.
5. Must have experience working in Manhattan and be able to take baby around the city either walking, bus, or subway to zoos, libraries, parks, etc.
6. Must have professional household experience, strong communication skills and speak and text in English fluently.
7. Must be able to lift 25+ pound baby as he does not walk yet. Be able to lift him up into stroller, move him around, in and out of bath tubs, eating chair, changing diaper, etc.
8. Detail oriented and aware of surroundings, ensuring he is always safe, happy, and his needs are being met.
Requirements -
1. No phone calls / texting to friends or family during work hours unless of an emergency or to parents.
2. No fragrance on body or clothes, family is allergic to fragrance.
3. No junk food / processed food eating around baby as baby is interested in eating adult food
4. Must be able to get on the floor everyday to play with him. Must be physically able to lift and play with him without physical issues.
5. No long nails, short and rounded, kept clean.
