Must be able to drive our family car. Job will be primarily based in Fort Greene and Brooklyn Heights but flexibility to travel to the north fork of Long Island for the month of August (live in option available for month of August) . We need a Part Time (3 days a week) nanny for our newborn daughter (just having turned 4 months at the end of May).
The start date is June 1st.
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 8am-5pm. (Mon/Wed/Fri considered)
Location: Crown Heights (cross streets are Bedford & Eastern PKWY).
The ideal candidate will be:
- French, Spanish, German or Portuguese speaking a plus (French preferred)
- warm and loving, supportive of attachment parenting
- willing to wear our daughter in a carrier or hold her for long stretches
- proactive and engaging
- reliable and open-minded
- 5+ years’ experience (including with 4-month old babies)
We are looking for someone who has experience with 4-month old babies, is aware of their developmental needs, and is willing to help us work towards her developmental goals (ie tummy time, enrichment).
Baby is formula bottle fed. We also ask that the nanny might be willing to do light housework such as laundry, light cleaning, and/or ingredient prep for dinners.
