Full-Time Nanny Job: The Nicole Family with 2 Children
We are a busy family on Manhattan’s Upper East Side seeking an experienced, warm, and highly organized full-time, live-out nanny for our two children (ages 2 and 5). We are looking for someone energetic, proactive, and confident managing the children’s daily routines, school schedules, activities, appointments, and playdates, as well as light household management related to the children.
The ideal candidate is loving but firm, sets consistent boundaries, encourages independence, and can take full ownership of the children’s day-to-day needs. The position is approximately 60 hours per week, 6:30-6:30 Monday–Friday, and requires partial summer travel to our home in the Finger Lakes, with accommodations provided. Swimming and driving ability and flexibility to travel are essential.

I am new to Nanny Lane, and have an infant daughter. I am hoping to start a connection with a nanny that I and my daughter can "grow into." My needs at present are variable--likely 5 hours, mostly Tu/Wed/Th--but may well expand (hours or days) within the next 6mos. I work from home most days, so it’s more about keeping baby soothed & cared for when I have video conference calls or just need to get work done. Responsibilities early on will therefore be straight forward and focused on the baby. Some light assistance with dishes likely as well.
