Part-Time Nanny / Family Assistant — Lakewood, CO (Denver Area)
Hours: ~20 hours/week, Monday–Friday afternoons

We're a family of two adults and one school-age child in Lakewood looking for a reliable, warm, and self-directed nanny to join us part-time. This role is afternoon-focused and blends school pickup, light household support, and occasional transportation help for a busy household.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 3:30–7:30 PM. Hours are consistent week to week. Occasional flexibility appreciated but not required.
What you'll do
Your primary responsibility is school pickup Monday through Friday — one standard car pickup and one bus stop pickup on Fridays. After pickup, you'll manage the after-school window: snack, homework supervision, and keeping things running smoothly until a parent is home.
The earlier part of each shift (before pickup) is for light cleaning, tidying, laundry, and occasional grocery runs or meal prep. From time to time, we may also ask for help with transportation for my wife (errands, appointments, etc.).
What we're looking for
Someone dependable above all else — the pickups are time-sensitive and we need to count on you. Beyond that: comfortable driving (a clean record is required), at ease in a household with a dog, able to cook simple weeknight meals or do dinner prep, and self-sufficient enough to manage their time without a lot of direction.
Experience with school-age children is important. Prior experience as a nanny or family assistant is preferred.
Requirements
Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Reliable personal vehicle.
We'll be upfront about what we need and we expect the same in return. Henry, our Cavapoo, is friendly and well-behaved. We're looking for someone who can grow with the family long-term.

My name is Sarah, and I work from home as a UX Research Design Strategist for a jewelry company. My husband is a dentist who recently opened his own practice. Our baby, Llewyn (Llew) was born in November of 2023. He is the sweetest, easiest baby. It is very important to us that anyone we hire knows milestones and can help him achieve those. The hours we need vary each day, but typically 8:30-4:00 will be pretty standard, Monday - Thursday. We have 2 dogs, one that is very scared of people, so we would put them away with a nanny share. That being said, we would like to slowly introduce her to any nanny we hire - once she gets to know you she is so sweet! Socialization with other children and being outside is also very important to us, as well as reading. We do not allow Llew to watch screens. We have a large backyard and a tent that can be set up for Llew - he is obsessed with being outside.
