The Lin Family - Hiring in Boston

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Rojas Family with 2 Children

We are a South Boston family with two girls, ages 18 months and 3.5 years, looking for an experienced nanny and child-focused family assistant. We both have demanding jobs, and we need someone proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of the girls' routines.

Your mornings include breakfast, getting everyone dressed and ready, packing bags, preschool drop-off for our older daughter, and activities with our youngest. Afternoons include pickup, naps, playtime, and dinner. Between those responsibilities, you'll manage the girls' laundry, rooms, bags, clothing, and supplies. Household support is light and entirely related to the girls.

We are respectful, direct communicators who set clear expectations and then trust you to own the role. We want you to notice what needs attention and to feel comfortable speaking up when a routine could work better.

Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM; Thursday, 7:30 AM–3:30 PM; Fridays off

We offer: $33–$40/hour based on experience · 38 guaranteed hours · vehicle provided for work use · two weeks of paid vacation · 10 paid holidays · three paid personal/sick days · health insurance stipend · annual compensation review · legal payroll and written work agreement

You bring: 6+ years of professional childcare experience, ideally with toddlers and preschoolers · warm, patient, and engaged approach · strong organizational and communication skills · clean driving record · CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified · interest in a long-term position

We also have two friendly cats, but no pet care is required. Our start date is flexible for the right person, including time to give proper notice.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The El-Yashruti Family with 1 Child

We’re looking for a caring, dependable nanny for our wonderful 5-month- old daughter. She’s a true joy— curious, happy, snuggly, and easy-going (except when the fomo kicks in at nap time!). We’re hoping to find someone for a long-term position (ideally until she starts preschool) for 15–20 guaranteed hours per week on a consistent schedule. The specific days and hours are somewhat flexible (preferably a mix of morning/afternoon spread across 4 or 5 days M-F); the exact schedule will be determined with the right candidate.

One parent will usually be working from home (though not always), so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently while a parent is elsewhere in the home.

We’re looking for someone who values responsive, attuned caregiving and enjoys engaging infants through conversation, play, reading, music, movement, outdoor time, and other age-appropriate activities in a screen-free environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Loving, attentive care for our daughter
- Age-appropriate play and developmental enrichment
- Feeding, diapering, naps, and maintaining her routine
- Light baby-related tasks optional (baby laundry, bottles, tidying toys)

**Qualifications:**

- Infant care experience
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- Non-smoker
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- Excellent references
- Comfortable around our friendly medium-sized dog

**Details:**

- Start: ASAP
- Pay: $25–35/hour, depending on experience and responsibilities
- Payroll (W-2) position with guaranteed hours; PTO and other benefits to be discussed

If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you! Please send us a little about yourself, your experience, and your availability.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Altaras Family with 1 Child

We're looking for a warm, energetic full-time nanny to care for our very social and active 18-month-old. He loves being out and about, spending time at playgrounds, visiting museums/aquarium, scootering around the city, and meeting new friends wherever he goes. An ideal nanny will be able to match his energy and enjoy planning fun, on-the-go days around Boston. We're hoping to find someone who can spend a full day outside the home and is excited to make the city part of his daily routine. We are centrally located and strongly prefer someone who is comfortable using the T rather than relying on a car. We also have a friendly Australian Shepherd, so comfort around dogs is a must. Benefits: Competitive pay, monthly MBTA pass & paid PTO. Payroll/W2 Only. Start date is mid to end of August. Monday-Friday, 9-5. 40 hours guaranteed with option for additional hours.

My name is Elizabeth and my husband and I are expecting a baby in late July. Beginning in September, we are looking for a nanny to care for our baby who will be 2 mo old. We have a cocker spaniel at home who does not need any additional care from you but we would like someone who likes being around dogs. If you believe you would be a good fit please reach out!
