We are a loving family seeking a kind, patient, and enthusiastic personal assistant/companion for our 22-year-old daughter who has Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. She is a petite, sweet, and affectionate young woman who is nonverbal and hearing-impaired. She communicates through gestures, facial expressions, and a few picture-based tools, and she brings joy to everyone around her with her bright smile and loving personality. We’re looking for someone who will become part of our extended family and help our daughter live her very best life filled with fun, connection, and new experiences.
About Her & What a Typical Day Looks Like
• She loves cuddles, gentle affection, and feeling safe and cherished
• Favorite activities include:
• Going out into the community (library, parks, movies, bowling, shopping, cafés and restaurants)
• Being read to
• Looking at photos and short videos on her iPad
• Simple puzzles and sensory activities
• Spending time outdoors — swings, walks, picnics
• She enjoys calm, positive energy and responds beautifully to patience and warmth
Schedule & Hours
• Full Time - 40 hours a week
• Hours are generally daytime/early evening
• Starting at $25 hour
Requirements
• Genuine love for people with disabilities and a naturally caring, upbeat personality
• Comfortable providing personal care as needed (bathing, toileting/diaper changes, dressing, feeding, etc.)
• Reliable transportation (you will be driving her in your own vehicle; mileage reimbursement available)
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required
• Non-smoker
• We have dogs and cats

We’re looking for a caring, dependable babysitter for our 6-month-old baby girl. Care will take place in our home in Riverside (near Norte Vista High School).

I’m a server at a restaurant. So it’s hard to tell when I’ll be off or if they’ll keep me for extra time. My son is a fast and crazy kid but definitely not too much. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9:00am to 5:30pm or 6:00pm. Then Fridays at 4:45pm til 12:00am to 1:00am. I know these hours are crazy but I have to try. My son still uses a bottle with oat milk to take a nap and to go to sleep. Trying to get him off of it but better said then done. He watches movies and educational things on YouTube kids. He’s pretty easy but I can’t have my Dad watch him anymore and need some help. Please.
