Full-Time Nanny Job: The Bukhari Family with 2 Children
**Full-Time Nanny / Household Manager — Upper East Side (40 hrs/week)**
We're a family on the Upper East Side looking for a warm, capable, and highly organized person to join us full-time as both caregiver to our two daughters (ages 9 and 10) and manager of our home. This is a long-term position and we're hoping to find someone who wants to grow with our family.
The girls are independent and don't need constant supervision — what they need is someone to steward their afternoons. That means homework, snacks, activities, getting them to and from where they need to be, and generally keeping their world in order until I'm home from work.
The rest of the day is home management. Meal prep for the family, housekeeping and daily tidying, errands, and ongoing organization — seasonal closet rotations, keeping the girls' rooms sorted as sizes and toys change, and staying ahead of the things that pile up when no one is watching them.
Our mornings start early, so we need a genuine morning person who's ready to go from the first bell. We're in the city, so confidence navigating the subway with kids is essential. No driving required.
Who thrives in this role: someone who moves fluidly between tasks and takes real ownership of the household rather than waiting to be assigned each thing. If you see the laundry basket, the empty fridge, and the outgrown winter coats without being told, we will get along well. Kind with kids, discreet, and reliable are non-negotiable.
What we offer: a genuinely warm household, clear communication, respect for your time, and a family that treats this as a professional role with room to shape how things run.
**Details:** Full-time, 40 hours/week, live-out. Upper East Side, Manhattan. Start date September (some flexibility for the right person). Compensation discussed during the interview process — we pay competitively and on the books.
Please reach out with a bit about yourself and your experience with school-age children. References required.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Pramanik Family with 2 Children
Warm, active family seeking an experienced, flexible nanny/family assistant starting early September (ideally Sept 8). Looking for someone who can commit through the school year and ideally longer.
Family: 3-month-old baby and a 4.5-year-old (school M–F mornings). Primary focus is the baby, plus help with school drop-off/pick-up, holidays, and occasional evenings. Mom is home and involved — you'd be hands-on with the baby's daily care, with mom deciding on activities/classes and nearby to collaborate. Supportive partnership, not solo coverage.
Responsibilities (even split of childcare & household):
* Infant care and age-appropriate activities
* Help with our 4.5-year-old outside school hours, incl. occasional pickup
* Family laundry (wash, fold, put away)
* Tidying toys/common areas; light cleaning (vacuum, mop, countertops)
* Dishwasher loading/unloading
* Simple food prep for kids and occasionally the family
* Occasional errands and evening/date-night babysitting
Schedule: ~30–35 hrs/week, consistent once set (some flexibility possible, e.g. a student's class schedule). Wednesdays 8 AM–12 PM required; other mornings most helpful; occasional evenings a plus. Paid for scheduled hours even if plans change.
Compensation & benefits:
* $25–30/hr based on experience (higher end for early childhood ed background + strong infant experience)
* 1–2 weeks PTO + major holidays; paid sick leave per NY law
* Modest rate increase during Hamptons weeks (live-in)
Location: Starts Midtown East (E 50s), likely moving to UES within ~6 months. Summers largely in the Hamptons — ideally 5 days/week live-in (preferred, not required). Driving a plus for camp pickup/errands; car provided.
Requirements:
* Experience with young babies required; references required
* Strong English; French or Bengali a plus
* Non-smoker; reliable, warm, proactive, comfortable taking initiative
To apply: send a brief intro, relevant experience, availability, and references. Looking forward to meeting you!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Chung Family with 1 Child
**PLEASE do apply if you do not live in LIC or Manhattan.**
Also, if possible looking for someone who speaks Korean!
I am a single mom looking for PART TIME nanny. M,W 2p-6p. With possibility of more hours dependent on my work circumstances.
My son is 4 going on 5 in June.
He attend 3-K in LIC. I would need the nanny to pick him up from school and then either take him home to Manhattan (midtown east) or whatever afterschool activity planned.
He is a wonderful kid. Very creative and imaginative. He loves pretending his toys or legos are heroes. (I usually play the villain) He loves interaction in his play so would like someone who can keep up.
He also loves to draw, paint and craft things. He also loves to play at the playground. Sometimes we coordinate with his friends nannies. So would be looking for someone who is willing to do that.
He is very in tuned with his emotions, feels a lot and expresses it pretty well when he knows the individual. He is very well spoken for a 4 year and a delight.
Our nanny would be someone who is calm, warm, patient and creative that can guide him and encourage his development. And would be someone who is not always on their phone. The whole point of me getting a nanny is so that he has another adult that gives him 1 on 1 attention as I am a single mom looking for that help.
I’m also looking for some light housekeeping just keeping things tidy after my son.
