We are a Christian family in South Franklin seeking a loving, experienced, and extremely dependable nanny for our 2½-year-old daughter,40 hours per week. We are VERY interested in a nanny share with another child close to her age!
Our daughter is incredibly social, curious, active, and loves learning! She currently attends preschool and thrives on structured activities, outdoor play, and interaction with other children. We’re hoping to transition to a more personalized childcare environment without sacrificing her education, developmental progress, or socialization.
Early childhood education or preschool teaching experience is strongly preferred. We’re looking for someone who can create an engaging, daily routine while providing individual attention and nurturing care.
Responsibilities include:
* Planning age-appropriate educational activities, crafts, reading, music, and creative play
* Encouraging developmental milestones, independence, and social skills
* Taking her to activities, classes, parks, library programs, and regular playdates
* Preparing healthy toddler meals and snacks
* Handling toddler laundry and keeping her clothes organized
* Tidying play areas, toys, and child-related spaces
* Maintaining a consistent routine with minimal screen time
* Communicating regularly with parents about activities and progress
Our ideal nanny:
* Has significant toddler experience and preferably an early childhood education background
* Shares our Christian faith and family values
* Is CPR/First Aid certified
* Is proactive, energetic, patient, and genuinely loves children
* Is exceptionally reliable, punctual, and consistent
* Has reliable transportation and a clean driving record
* Has strong references and is willing to complete a background check

We recently moved to Franklin and are looking for someone who will be with us long-term. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my husband works long hours and will be traveling back to the West Coast often. Our youngest turned 2 in September and he’s the life of the party. He’s cuddly and loves to eat. We also have two sweet senior dogs at home.
What we need:
• Experience with sensory processing differences or special needs care is a big plus.
• Reliable, dependable, and takes initiative without needing constant direction.
• Patient, attentive, and comfortable with close supervision.
• Reliable transportation + clean driving record.
• Calm under pressure, playful, and genuinely engaged.
