A little bit about us

Newborn Nanny Needed – San Jose (Berryessa)

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and caring nanny to help with our 2-month-old newborn.

Location: San Jose - Berryessa
Dates: January 1st – February 10th, 2026 (~6 weeks)
Hours: 4–8 hours/day, Monday to Friday (flexible, open to discussing)
Pay: $25–30/hour, with a minimum guarantee of 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Newborn care
Washing and preparing baby bottles
Light kitchen help (loading dishwasher, simple cleaning)
Laundry for the newborn and our 3-year-old (who is in school full-time)
Helping maintain a clean and calm environment for the baby

What we're looking for:
Strong experience caring for newborns
Up-to-date vaccinations (flu, Tdap, COVID preferred)
Willing to provide ID, work authorization, and vaccination proof
OK with a background check
Able to share 2–3 references
Kind, gentle, patient, and safety-focused
Able to drive to and from our house
Non-smoker

We are a warm, friendly family and our newborn is a very calm, easy baby. We'd love to start with a paid trial of 1–3 days this month to see if it's a good fit for both sides.
