I started babysitting for friends of the family as soon as I was old enough to get my Red Cross certificate. I have babysat weekends and Summers ever since. I have also worked some after school care, and know that I am patient and helpful when getting kids through difficult homework assignments. The children I watch are important to me, and many past families call often when a child has a homework project due the next day, or the parents are going out last minute. Some families I have worked for have had multiple children, and being a part of a family's growth and the children's development is something I cherish. When working with children, I take special care to implement art and outdoor play, as well as reading and projects, for a well rounded child. I know that I work very well with children and have loved every child I have worked for.

I have grown up with my mother running a special needs daycare out of our home, so I have several years of experience with a variety of different children. This lifestyle has given me experience with children with severe developmental delays, medical complications, and a variety of other special needs. I started babysitting for infants and toddlers at a young age (p14). As soon as I was old enough, I became a nanny. I have now been working as a nanny for approximately three years, with the same family. The children I work with now are 9 and 11, and I have also been babysitting for infants and toddlers in the morning, and on weekends for the past few years.

I have worked for a family of 4 for 8 month part time in the morning...my responsibility was to take care of an 18 months old girl and a new born baby boy...their mommy work part time at home...In the afternoon I worked couple hours for another family of 4 and the situation was pretty much the the same except their ages were different. the boy was 4 years old and baby brother was 4 months old. after working for these family, they offer me full time with benefits so I worked for them for almost two years...I left the family because their mother decide to quit her job it was too stressful for her so she decide to stay home...I found another wonderful family with two small children and every time I met new family I fell in love with the children...so anyway, I worked for the family for two years and it was time for me to move on again because it was time for the children to start school, therefore my hours would be reduced 50 percent...so after leaving the family, I found another family they are family of 3 and expecting another one...it's great also working for them, but my hours have been reduced to less than 30 as she is going on leave for 4 months...I needed to have 40 hours a week or more if possible....

I have two years professional experience more or less. I first cared for a an 8 month old and her 3 year old sister. Currently I took care of a 11 month old boy (when I started)and his 4 year old brother on the days he wasn't in preschool. I have references from both positions.

I was a professional nanny for about 2-3 years. More recently, I was a nanny for a 1 year old and a 3 year old for close to two years while I was a student at SJSU. Later, I was a babysitter while working on my internships and finishing up school.

My last childcare experience was just as amazing as all the other ones. I cared for a family with 4 boys! YES! I said 4 boys - they were 7, 9, 10 and 13 years old. They were awesome! Everyday was a fun day with them. I picked them up from school and drove them to extra curricular activities. I also cooked dinner for the family and got snacks ready for the boys. It was a great experience. Sadly, I had to leave them because I was getting closer to finish my Medical Assistant Program and I had to start my externship and the hours I had available wouldn't work with their schedule. however, I am really happy I met all of them because I had so much fun with them. Actually, I always have fun with the children I work, I make sure they like and that we do fun activities but of course, making sure that they listen to me at all times that I am their friend but I am also responsible for them. I am there to educate them as well as care for them and keep them safe.
