A little bit about us

Looking for a full-time (38- 42 hours a week) nanny and house manager for the summer with option to transition with us into the 26-27 school year onward. We are looking primarily for childcare, occasional activities for kids (driving to and sometimes staying through completion), but also meal planning, groceries, calendar help/ routines, kids chores, meal preparation and/or cooking, and about 2 loads of laundry a week. I have two outgoing and active kids who participate in music, gymnastics, and baseball. Ages 9 (boy) and 6 (girl). They are both beams of light but in their own ways. They love being together but also have very different interests a lot of the time, so someone to help balance is key. Our son is sports all the time, video games, and games of all kinds. Our daughter loves to be active climbing, jumping, dancing and all things creative/crafts and imagination. They both enjoy attention and have a competitive itch but are good kids learning how to articulate their voice. We want a partner in both their development and our home. We are looking for someone who is willing to play and be on their level but also encourage independence/ self entertainment/ interests, with the ability redirect and correct to lead their strong personalities and help us in respect and accountability practices. We need someone dependable and wanting to be part of growing our kids in this important time of self awareness and development of their inner voice and self confidence.

Responsibilities
Childcare Duties
* Manage daily routines (bathing, diapering, dressing, nap schedules)
* Prepare healthy meals and snacks
* Engage in educational play, reading, arts & crafts
* Assist with homework (curriculum-style support)
* Maintain safe, nurturing environment
* Monitor screen time
* Manage allergies and basic first aid needs
Household (Child-Related Only)
* Children’s laundry
* Tidy children’s rooms and play areas
* Wash dishes used by children
* Rotate outgrown clothes and unused toys
* Keep children’s items organized
Transportation & Errands
* Occasional transport to school, appointments, and activities as needed
* Run occasional family errands (groceries, child supplies)
Family Support
* Provide daily updates to parent(s)
* Be flexible for early mornings, occasional evenings, and emergencies
* Available to travel domestically and internationally (pre-planned) - ALL EXPENSE PAID (only responsible for spending money on trip)
* Available every other weekend based

Ideal Candidate
* Prior nanny or childcare experience
* Comfortable caring for multiple children of different ages
* Highly organized and proactive
* Calm, patient, and dependable
* Comfortable with live-in arrangement
