We have a 7yo boy (Rowan) and 4yo girl (Maeve) and are looking for someone to pick them up from school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Hello! We are looking to hire a Family Assistant; The Family Assistant role combines childcare responsibilities with personal assistant tasks. This hybrid position requires someone organized, adaptable, and compassionate. You’ll be an essential part of the family’s daily life, supporting both parents and our children (5 & 7 yrs old). Ideal hours are 11AM-6PM Monday-Thursday and Friday 12-4PM. (Roughly 30 hours a week- sometimes a bit more!)

Use the hours before the kids are home to handle household tasks (e.g., laundry, tidying up, grocery shopping (via Instacart)).
Tidying Up: Keeping the home environment clean and organized.
Help manage household schedules and appointments (particularly for children)
Making beds & organizing parts of the home.
Meal prep: for snacks and dinner.
Pet Care: Feeding pets and watering plants.
Additional Tasks could include:
Running Errands: mailing returns, scheduling with vendors (example: dry cleaning pick up or donations coordination).
(On occasion) Event Participation: Attending events the children are schedule for (after school sports or birthday parties)
Overall, looking for someone to ensure well-being of our children and the smooth functioning of the household
Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities. Trustworthy and reliable.
