Full-Time Nanny Job: The Nicole Family with 2 Children
We are a busy family on Manhattan’s Upper East Side seeking an experienced, warm, and highly organized full-time, live-out nanny for our two children (ages 2 and 5). We are looking for someone energetic, proactive, and confident managing the children’s daily routines, school schedules, activities, appointments, and playdates, as well as light household management related to the children.
The ideal candidate is loving but firm, sets consistent boundaries, encourages independence, and can take full ownership of the children’s day-to-day needs. The position is approximately 60 hours per week, 6:30-6:30 Monday–Friday, and requires partial summer travel to our home in the Finger Lakes, with accommodations provided. Swimming and driving ability and flexibility to travel are essential.

Also, Friday is a half day of school for my son, so Fridays would include pick up and coverage for about 4 hours. Most important thing we're looking for in a caregiver is flexibility. We need to find someone who can also work full days when there is no school in session. If interested, we could also add a few hours if the caregiver wanted to help with light meal prep and housework for the kids such as making their beds and doing their laundry.
