Hi! We’re looking for a warm, dependable nanny/mother’s helper for our 21-month-old son in our home on Camp Pendleton. We’d like to start with approximately 6–12 hours/week and, for the right fit, there is potential for the position to grow significantly over time, possibly closer to full-time.
Your primary responsibility would be our toddler—playing with him, taking him outside/on walks or to the park, helping with meals/snacks, and following his usual routine. I’ll generally be home caring for our young baby, so you would not be responsible for both children at once as the normal arrangement.
Because we have a very young infant, we’re being especially cautious about illness exposure. We’re specifically looking for someone who is NOT currently working in a daycare/preschool/childcare center or regularly providing childcare for other families.
We live on Camp Pendleton, so someone who already has base access is strongly preferred. We’re hoping to find someone kind, patient, reliable, active with toddlers, and comfortable following our family’s routines while also taking initiative. If it’s a great mutual fit, we’d love for this to become a long-term position with substantially more hours.

I'm looking for a mama's Helper/sitter. This could also be ideal for a local college student who is looking to pay cheap rent in trade of helping around the house and with my kiddo. We live very close to Mira Costa college, a large home, and plenty of space. I'm not actually single but the best way to explain my situation is to say I am a single mom with no additional outside support/family nearby. So, I need an extra set of hands, and a longer list of trusted support/sitters for all of the things that it takes to run a home, and take care of a kiddo, while working full-time with an untraditional schedule and still keeping some level of peace of mind. If not a live in situation, I'm looking for 1 to 2 days per week, even if for a few hours that will work for you to come and help.
