A little bit about us
Our 2 kids are clean, responsible, engaging, emotionally intelligent, curious, and opinionated (which kids aren't). They love reading, stories, robotics/coding, science, hiking. They like engaging with people.
We know caring for our kids is a job for you but because we love our kids, we would love to treat you more than that. We have had the most success with nannies who felt like family or friend. These nannies are usually easy going, genuine, very engaging with kids, and tend to give and take trust.
Regardless, we want to get to know you more, we want you to know us and to hopefully trust us as well (and vice versa). We don't want someone who's just looking for a job, doesn't care for kids or easily gets frustrated or impatient with kids.
We love technology as well as we are sure you love it too. However, we don't want someone who spends time scrolling through their phone instead of engaging with the kids.
A bonus: we would love for someone who is passionate about something in life and can talk about their passions. Preferably college students or graduates. In other words, whatever makes you an interesting person would be a great asset to our family and to the kids.
For the summer of 2025, we will not be needing much care (perhaps 5-8 hours a week) if not less. Those hours would most likely be on Fridays (4pm-10pm) or Saturdays.
But starting August 2025, we will need a lot of your time. Some mornings, maybe some school or bus pickups.
You will be compensated based on your experience and other factors (between $15 and $20 per hour).
