Hi! Our family lives in Chilmark, Martha's Vineyard. We're looking for a caregiver for Spring/Summer 2026. We're a busy family that likes to travel, take hikes, spend time at the beach, and swim in a family pool near by. Stella is 14 and Emi is 8. Stella is kind, reserved, and loves horseback riding, figure skating and reading. Stella's focus this summer will be spending time horseback riding, skating, & possibly working a first job or volunteering. Emi is loving and loves art, music, horseback riding, and playing just about anything! this summer, Emi will have camp most weekdays in a variety of settings around the island. Both girls have some structured activities and time to be free and enjoy summer fun. We also have a four year old dog named Roxy that loves to go for walks and play.

Our ideal caregiver is responsible, patient, supportive, understands child development and thrives with routines. Our younger daughter sometimes needs extra support with emotional regulation and routine transitions.

Typical days include picking up and dropping off at camps/activities and enjoying summer downtime while maintaining routines. Walking our dog Roxy is a regular part of our day. Typical weekend days include trips to beach, the bike path, trail walks, swimming at grandma’s pool in Chilmark, and outdoor adventures. Most days include caring for one child at a time with some part of the day with both.

Driving is a big part of this job. We will reimburse you for mileage on your car. End of season bonus available for consistent care throughout the summer. We are open to live-in or live out.

Our schedule will fluctuate a bit as our kids transition from school to summer plans. however we can provide schedules in advance and maintain a consistent schedule.

We are looking for the following: Full-time care ideally May 1st to September 5th. We are flexible regarding start and end dates but hoping to have the majority of the summer covered.
