Nanny Needed For Nanny Share - Two Children in Winthrop/East Boston

Seeking a nanny for a nanny share near Winthrop/East Boston for a 5 month old infant boy and 9 month old infant girl starting in September. Both babies are very happy, interactive, and love to play and explore new things. Our ideal sitter is patient, confident and comfortable around multiple infants, and up for some silly, fun playtime.

The care would take place at either of the families’ homes - one in Winthrop and the other in the Orient Heights area of East Boston. Both homes have adequate space in the playroom, kitchen, and nursery, as well as lovely walking routes to nearby parks and beaches!

We are initially looking for coverage 7:30am-4:00pm Mondays-Fridays, with care for just one infant on Fridays. Some of those days, at least one parent will be working from home on a separate floor as well. During the summer months, a lighter schedule would be anticipated. If you are interested in also babysitting on the occasional date night, we can do that too!

Hourly rate is $17-22. Job includes sick time and accrued vacation hours. At this time, we are prioritizing applicants who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Influenza and pertussis vaccinations must also be up to date. While having a car is not required, it would certainly be helpful - both families have free parking available at their homes.
Looking forward to meeting you!

A little bit about us

We are looking for a family to share our wonderful nanny. We live in South Boston and have a 17 month old daughter. We have been doing a nanny share for the past year and the other family is moving out of the city. Our nanny is the absolute best, she is loving, caring, silly, disciplined, takes the utmost care and creates a fostering environment. We know that our kids are in safe and loving hands every day. We would be heartbroken to lose her. A new family must be in Southie and have a similar age child. Our preference is have the other family host the kids the majority of the time due to current work schedules. Please reach out to discuss more details.

A little bit about us

My husband and I are a soon-to-be dual physician couple with a sweet little boy who is almost 5 months old. I am a cardiologist and my husband is set to start training in neurology later this Spring/early Summer. We are looking for a live-in nanny to help with childcare predominantly in the afternoons and evenings Monday through Friday with some weekend flexibility (overall ~ 20-30 hours per week). Other expectations include assistance with household management (errands as they arise, very light housework, etc.). We live in Jamaica Plain in a very central location and have a lovely room with a private bathroom on a separate floor that would offer privacy and comfort. Rate to be discussed on individual basis.
