Start Date: 1st or 2nd Week of April
Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and active babysitter to care for our 9-year-old son. Due to our work schedules in retail and restaurant management, our needs vary, and we are open to having more than one sitter rotate shifts if necessary. The ideal candidate should be energetic, enjoy outdoor activities, and be comfortable with a large German Shepherd.
Schedule & Availability:
Varying schedule based on parents’ work shifts
Schedule provided 2-3 weeks in advance
Start times as early as 9:00 AM
Latest evening shift until 9:30 PM (shifts will not be 12-hour increments)
Flexibility is a plus
Responsibilities:
Engage and interact with a very energetic 9-year-old boy through outdoor play, walks, and games
Supervise and ensure his well-being while parents are at work
No teaching required, but must be comfortable supporting a homeschooled child’s routine
Must be comfortable around a large, friendly German Shepherd
(August–November) If possible, assist with transportation to football practice (5 miles from home), but not a requirement.
Requirements:
Experience with school-aged children preferred
Reliable transportation
Comfortable with pets
Active and willing to participate in outdoor activities
Responsible, punctual, and engaging
