A little bit about us

Seeking afternoon care for our two boys and support with general home organization, laundry, and light cleaning. On some nights of the week, we need assistance with taking the boys to their various activities.

Our 7 yo is in second grade. He is very intelligent and fun to talk to. He is also highly active, strong-willed and treated for ADHD. We are looking for someone who has a lot of patience, a firm but calm demeanor, and someone who can celebrate his strengths and help him to grow. Having a background working with children with special needs is a huge plus.

Our 4 yo is very smart and sweet. He loves to talk and is excited to do things for himself and to help out when asked. As the younger brother of someone who can take up a lot of space, we aim to celebrate and encourage him to be the amazing kid that he is.

We also have a year old Springer Spaniel (also a boy).

The light housework we are hoping for includes straightening up the kitchen and downstairs areas after the activities of the morning, starting loads of the boys laundry and folding and putting away the boys clean laundry, helping with general organization, and light cleaning as needed. Giving the dog a walk would be a bonus!

We both work from home and will be present in the house most of the time. However, we are looking for someone who can work independently and take charge of the tasks assigned. We are flexible and are willing to adjust expectations around hours and assigned tasks for the right fit.
